LexiCon is host to over a hundred events over one exciting 3 day weekend. Here’s a summary of the types of events you can expect.
Board and Card Games
LexiCon plays host to the Ginormous Library of over 2000 games. Any badge holder may check out games from the library to play at our open play tables.
Not sure what to play? Visit our Learn-to-Play area where a dozen or more of our gaming experts are ready to teach you exciting new games, Games Everyone Should Know, the best Games for Couples and more.
Want to play for higher stakes, then sign up for one of our super fun tournaments including Catan, Ticket to Ride, Splendor or any of a dozen or more.
Role-Playing Games
An exciting expansion to the convention space means we now have a dedicated RPG hall with Dungeons and Dragons, Pathfinder, Shadowrun, Cal of Cthulhu and so much more.
Vendors
Over 30 vendors will be on site in our Vendor Hall offering board games, crafts, books and original art. Also, make sure to look for our Entrepreneurs scattered throughout the convention center. These are smaller artists, game designers and others.
Parties
Friday night is our welcome celebration for this year’s con. This is a great way to relax with new friends and get familiar with the lighter side of gaming. Saturday, we go Overboard! Our theme for Saturday is anything aquatic. Feel free to dress for the occasion and maybe win a prize.
Both parties are for adults only and are sponsored by West 6th Brewing.
Play to Wins
Visit our library and check out games and have a chance to win one of almost 100 games provided by publishers. All games will go home with a happy owner over the course of the weekend.
Giant Games Room
LexiCon will host multiple Giant Games that you can play during the weekend. These are LexiCon exclusives such as King of Lexington and Ticket to the Bluegrass.
Cosplay
Back for a sixth year will be our wonderful Saturday afternoon cosplay contest. Last year’s top winner was an incredible original character, but we offer prizes for cosplayers at all levels. And on Sunday we offer an additional cosplay contest for our junior cosplayers. Come to show off your costume or to enjoy everyone else’s!
Artemis Spaceship Simulator
Don’t miss out on our one electronic game. In Artemis you assume the role of an officer on the bridge of a starship. Work with your fellow officers to solve problems and avoid disaster.
Family Day
Sunday is our special family day. LexiCon aims to be fun for the entire family all weekend, but we try to make Sunday extra special for folks bringing family members of all ages with crafts, games, tournaments and more.
