Welcome to Lexicon, a gamer’s gaming convention. We are all about the tabletop (and occasionally other things). Please expect more details as things unfold, but here’s an idea of what you can expect to see at Lexicon 2016.
Over 100 games taught either individually or as part of our Learn-to-Play themes series. Yes, we will be teaching many of the latest and greatest from GenCon and Essen 2016, as well as early 2017 releases. Plus we are expanding the very popular LTP series. You can sign up or show up to pick among Deckbuilders, Family Games, Cooperative Games, Children’s Games, Horror Games and many more. Our expert will be on hand to teach these and ensure you have a great time. The schedule will be so packed that you could spend the entire weekend learning all new games.
We will once again have our big Catan qualifier complete with all expense paid trip to GenCon. As well as many other tournaments which are detailed on our tournaments page.
If there is one thing we love at Lexicon it is giving things away. Last year we had so many Play to Win games we had to spread out the love and give different ones away each day! Look for another big year of play-to-win games thanks to your (and our) favorite sponsoring publishers!
Last year was a break through for RPGs for Lexicon. So many of our events sold out. So, how are we going to respond? By throwing support at even more RPGs. We are opening up to meeting rooms to the main Function Area and turning almost all of that over to RPGs. Obviously we don’t have the full schedule yet, but expect plenty of Pathfinder, D&D, Marvel, and more.
Open Gaming / Library
Yes, that’s right, the highlight of Lexicon. This year the library will be over 1500 games!!! Plus we have a much expanded open gaming space. Last year was a blast and this year is sure to be even better.
That’s right, Vampire: The Masquerade LARP is coming back as is the Dr Who LARP. In addition we are adding a Superheroes LARP. Supers! Is this going to awesome or what? If this keeps getting better we may need to add a wing. See our LARP page for more details.
